Realm of Monsters is a zine about Godzilla and his kingdom, from friends to foes and every beatdown in between! We are looking to celebrate Toho's amazing King of the Monsters in all his incarnations, from the seminal 1954 Godzilla all the way to Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire.

WHAT IS A ZINE?
A zine is a collection of fan art, fiction and merch celebrating the focus of the zine, in this case, Godzilla!WILL THE ZINE BE DIGITAL OR PHYSICAL?
To be determined!IS THIS ZINE FOR-PROFIT OR FOR-CHARITY?
This will be a 50/50. 50% will go to the artists, and the other 50% will go to the charity Doctors Without Borders.IS NSFW ALLOWED?
This will be determined by the Interest Check, but at the moment we are leaning towards canon levels of violence. Many depictions of Godzilla are on the darker side and we want to honor that.WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF THE ZINE?
All contributors must be 18+.HOW WILL CONTRIBUTORS BE COMPENSATED?
All contributors will be at least compensated with a digital copy of the PDF. IF the zine ends up being physical, and sales allow, then contributors will receive a comped full bundle. Additional compensation will be through the 50% of what is gathered from the Zine divided amongst all of the artists, as the other 50% will be going through charity.HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS ARE YOU ACCEPTING?

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
∎ All applicants will be required to submit 3 samples of their best work.
∎ A portfolio with at least five (5) additional works. This can be an AO3 works page, a carrd, google drive folder, etc. Please do not provide a link to your social media unless it has a curated view!
∎ Godzilla/kaiju/monster samples are preferred by not required!WRITERS: Pieces must be MAX 1,500 words. Excerpts are okay but at least one sample should be a completed story under the word limit.PAGE AND SPOT ARTISTS: At least one piece must include a full background. All pieces must be complete and not be sketches/wips.MERCH ARTISTS: At least one piece should be a merch item that is ready for production (does not have to be produced yet!). Merch pieces (physical or digital) are preferred but not required.GENERAL ZINE REQUIREMENTS
∎ You must be 18+.
∎ We will be working through Discord, so please have a discord account or be willing to sign up for one.
∎ All pieces submitted should be created by you! AI art and/or plagiarism is not allowed and if you are caught doing either, you will be removed from the zine.
∎ All contributors are expected to be respectful and behave professionally in the server. We will not look at an applicant's social media or their outside work when looking over their application. However, if it becomes known that an application or contributor is producing or promoting content that is discriminatory, exclusionary, or hateful towards real-life groups, they will be removed from the zine.
∎ All contributors are expected to adhere to the zine schedule!WRITER Requirements:
All WRITERS will make one (1) fic between 1500 and 2500 words for the zine. You are required to submit your final pieces in the format provided by the formatting mod.PAGE ARTIST Requirements:
All PAGE ARTISTS are required to create 1 A5 piece for the zine. Your piece must be fully colored and have a background. You are required to submit your piece in the format provided by the formatting mod.MERCH ARTIST Requirements:
